Joas Cardoso (cello)

Joas Cardoso was born in the Amazon (Brazil) and made his first big public appearance as a soloist at the age of twelve at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) where he performed the Vivaldi Cello Concert in C Major with the Rio International Cello Ensemble conducted by the distinguished cellist and conductor Richard Markson (UK). At the age of seventeen under the guidance of Richard Markson Joas moved to London (UK) where he obtained his Bachelor Degree and Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Performance from Trinity College of Music.

Joas has won a few chamber music competitions whilst living in the UK including the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition two years consecutively. As well as performing Joas enjoys teaching and collaborating with different types of art.

Yuki Cardoso (piano)

Yuki Cardoso moved to England in 2003 and began the IPS course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance studying piano with Russian pianist Nina Sereda. In 2005, Yuki began the Postgraduate Diploma Solo Piano course and in 2007 she began the Postgraduate Advanced Diploma Accompaniment course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with well known English pianist Christine Croshaw.

At that time, she also started playing with cellist Joas Cardoso and they have since performed in concerts in London, Brazil and Japan.

Lillian Foster (violin)

Lillian Klotz Foster has performed in venues throughout the United States and Central America including Carnegie Hall, Philadelphia's Academy of Music, Cleveland's Severance Hall, Panama City's Teatro Anita Villaz, the Phoenix Jewish Film Festival, and "Good Morning Arizona." A native of Philadelphia, she resides in Yokohama, Japan. She has a Master's degree in violin performance at the Pennsylvania State University where she was a graduate assistant. At Penn State University, Mrs. Foster performed in the Philharmonic Orchestra and in the Graduate String Quartet. She also played in the first violin section of the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra. Outside of the university, she taught private and group violin classes with the State College Suzuki Program. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Mrs. Foster taught middle school orchestra in Tempe and Phoenix, Arizona.


In addition to classical training, Mrs. Foster began performing Klezmer music at age 12 with her father in their synagogue band "the Or Hadash Klezmaniacs," where she later served as musical director for the group's revival. She has worked with some of the world's leading Klezmer musicians at Living Tradition's KlezKampand KlezKanada. Klezmer music has led Klotz to other non-classical experiences, collaborating for recordings with pop and rock artists, and playing an occasional tango or blues number.


Committed to growth as a teacher and educational leader, Lillian Klotz Foster is working towards a master's degree in Educational Leadership at Saint Joseph's University. She has completed coursework in school finance, curriculum development, human resource management, evaluation and measurement, among others.

Rohnan Crahe (drums)

Rohnan  Crahe (France) is a professional drummer graduated from the London College of Music and Media - University of Westinster. As well as being a performer Rohan also enjoys teaching the drums to all ages.
